Who I Am
I'm an empath, meaning that I'm very sensitive to other people's emotions. This helped me connect with babies and children when I worked as a Pre-K teacher, child care provider, and with special needs children. Now I use that sensitivity to help parents feel more comfortable and confident, regardless of the situation.
While I breastfed my three children and work as a Breastfeeding Counselor, I'm going to support your parenting choices. Tell me your goals and priorities and together we'll make a plan to get you there.
I'm a healer. I love helping you weave the threads back together. Over the last 19 years, I've had the privilege of sharing this sacred time with over 150 families.
I always seek the most natural and holistic care options first. (Especially when it comes to newborns!) But, there are times when conventional medicine works, too. I don't care if you're using disposable diapers, but if you want to know how to naturally treat plugged tear ducts, reflux, prickly heat, I'm your Doula.
I'm passionate about increasing postpartum awareness--our culture needs to recognize postpartum is a separate life transition. I'm happy to help, so please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.
